We do not collect any personal identifying information about individuals using our website except when specifically and knowingly provided by such individuals who complete our Deed Poll application forms or send us emails.

We offer a confidential service.  Therefore, we do not disclose information about our clients to third parties other than to:

  • confirm the authenticity of a client's Deed Poll to a connected third party.  We are often contacted by the passport office and financial institutions to confirm the authenticity of Deed Poll documents and legal copies presented to them by our clients.
  • provide information to the police and government agencies, when requested by them, under section 29(3) of the Data Protection Act 1998 but only for the purpose of preventing or detecting a crime, or to assist in the apprehension or prosecution of offenders.  Please note, this exception does not include assisting the Police with tracing missing persons.
  • provide information of a child's name change to anyone with parental responsibility for the child.

We do not store any personal information whatsoever on our webserver.
